Hello, welcome to the blog of Adrienne Stormer, owner of Stormer Decorative Finishes. Adrienne is an artist that specializes in murals, hand painted faux finishes, plasters, and cabinet refinishing. Adrienne received a BFA in painting and drawing from Chico State. She is a member of IDAL:International Decorative Artisans League, and is president of the East Bay chapter: Diablo Decorative Artisans. She received specific training in her feild from: Faux Mastes Studio and from working under and with many talented decorative painters in the Bay Area. She stays up to date with current decorating/paint trends by attending various training seminars. Some of the specific techniques she specializes in are: venetian plaster, decorative plasters including metallic plasters, American Clay, Vero, cabinet glazing, fine furniture finishing, metallic paint application, guilding, wall glazing, old-world texture application, modellos, stenciling-including custom made stencils, murals, Adding patina to forged iron work.
